Biography

I have been in education arena for 26 years; Twenty years as a certified teacher. I have taught grades Pre-K through fifth grade. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood, My Master's Degree in Elementary education and my Doctoral Degree in Teacher Leadership with a minor in Curriculum Development. I have also held many positions in the educational arena such as Reading/Academic Coach, Title 1 After School Coordinator, Grade Chair, Department Chair, ESOL Facilitator/Train The Trainer, Teacher Support Specialist/Coaching and Leadership Team. Teaching and Mentoring are dear to my heart. 

Educational Philosophy

My philosophy of education is that “Every Child Can Learn If Given The Opportunity”. I also believe that students are unique individuals and must be nurtured to grow mentally, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically. We must build bridges between homes, communities and schools to ensure that students will have a multitude of opportunities to foster a love for learning and be able to compete globally as a productive citizen of today’s society.
