Description:  Academic Bowl is a club for older Gifted students.  It consists of two teams that compete by answering academically-based trivia questions via buzzers.  Question topics vary widely and include: Literature and Language Arts, Mathematical concepts and problem-solving, Science, Social Studies, History, Current News and Events, foreign languages, art/artists, music/musicians, sports, famous people, pop culture and more!  Playing is exciting and fast-paced and a great way to test students'  knowledge.  Our 5th Graders will compete against other Gifted students from other DeKalb County schools each December.

Fall Semester: 5th Grade Gifted (mandatory)

Spring Semester: 4th Grade Gifted (optional)

Meetings: Thursdays from 2:30-3:15
