Biography

This year marks 32 years as an educator. I have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and high school Spanish 1 and 2. Teaching is not just an occupation with me; it’s my calling.  I have taught in Michgan, California and now Georgia.  I have one daughter and no pets because I am allergic to everything!  I received my bachelor’s degree from California State University, my first masters from Wayne State University in Michigan and my second master’s degree from American College of Education in Illinois.

My hobbies include shopping all over the world, traveling (I’ve been to 6 out of 7 continents), reading and singing.  When I’m not in school I am traveling.

Educational Philosophy

One of my paradigms is that I believe all children can learn.  I just need to find that way to best teach them.
