Biography

I want students to enjoy school because I understand how important education is, even if they may not realize it so early on in their career.  In these beginning years of their education, it is my commitment to ignite that fire in each student sparking a zeal for learning, a passion for studying and an unyielding desire to meet and exceed each challenge set before them. 


 

 

 

 

 

 

  

Whether I’m teaching 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 5th grade, I realize that the responsibility is on me to make certain when my students leave my classroom at the end of the year, they so not only having learned the specific lessons I’ve taught, but more importantly, they leave my classroom knowing how to learn and be excited about the evolution of their educational career.  

 

Educational Philosophy

Personally, I never found that committed teacher who fought to instill in me a desire to learn, but through my students each and every day I’ve found my desire to teach.
