Biography
All my life, I’ve wanted to be a teacher. Along the way, I’ve been inspired by some gifted educators who’ve made a difference in their students lives in both large and quiet ways. At the heart of each was this philosophy: “As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something no one else has—or ever will have—something inside that is unique to all time. It’s our job [as teachers] to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression” Fred Rogers.
“Every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique, not only capable of learning, but also capable of succeeding.” ((Meehan). “An important part of education is encouragement.” (Anatole France). “The essence of teaching is to make learning contagious, to have one idea spark another” (Collins)
