Biography

I have been at Oakcliff since 2010. I started out as a bus driver transitioned to paraprofessional and then became a teacher. I was born and raised in Atlanta and have a daughter that I adopted from South Korea. I absolutely love teaching and inspiring as may kids as I can whether they are in my class or not. I love to workout and go for runs.I am a life long learner and I absolutely try to learn something new everyday no matter how big or how small it is. 

Educational Philosophy

    I am but one person in a village of many that is able to help change the lives of others. I have always lived by the saying, “Information changes situations.”  Education is information and I know that each year I am given another opportunity to help change student’s situations.
