  • B.S. in Early Childhood Education with a K-12 Reading Specialist designation

Position at Oakcliff Elementary School

  • Title 1 Instructional Paraprofessional for K-2

After raising three sons, I returned to Kennesaw State University to earn a degree in Early Childhood Education.  My first teaching position was Kindergarten.  I also have had experience in Pre-K.  The joy and reward of teaching is to see students meet their struggles and master them to gain confidence and excitement to learn.

I just completed a cross country road trip that was scary and exciting at the same time.  The USA is a majestic and vast country, as I found out as I traveled from Atlanta, GA to Bremerton, WA. I met many people that were interesting and had a story to tell.  What a way to continue as a life-long learner!

I like to spend my weekends with friends and family.  I also dabble in sewing and painting to tap into my creative side.

Cooking is a Science Club
Mrs. Davis is the sponsor teacher for the Cooking is a Science Club.
Mrs. Davis asks us to save those "CLEANED" food boxes and bags, such as cereal, granola bars, chip bags, etc.? In the Cooking is a Science Club, we will be examining ingredients and learning to read the nutritional value of these foods.
