thumb of art contest winners Give Wildlife a Chance Poster Contest Winners 2019
The 29th Annual Give Wildlife a Chance Poster Contest 2019 was sponsored by the Teorgia Depaertment of Natural Resources, The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, and The Environmental Resources Network, Inc. (TERM). This year's theme was Pollinator Power! Teh contest is an ongoing educational effort to help children and teachers gain awareness of Georgia's native plants and animials. Artists as well as wildlife and plant professionals judge the contest entries based on artistic interpretation, originality, visual impact, and contest theme.
 
Oakcliff Art Teacher Ms. Faulkner made her students in Art Contest Club aware of this contest, and Oakcliff is proud to announce our two winners. Congratulations!

Oakcliff's Academic Team places 4th in all of Dekalb County
Oakcliff's Academic Team tied round 1, and won the other 4 rounds. This is a 4th place district finish in the entire Dekalb County. This year's academic bowl was on Saturday, December 1st at Tucker Middle School. Oakcliff's 5th grade Discovery students participated. A big shout out and thanks to all parents sho came out to support us.  (pictures below)

Student's login is entire first name and first three letters of last name. No spaces or punctuation. Jonny Lightfoot's login would be JONNYLIG.  All PreK, Kinder, 1st, and 2nd graders have logins. The game is free on a computer, but requires an paid APP to work on a mobile device.
