Field Trips to the ATL -- Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
All of our 4th grade classes went and each group got to see something a little different, but all of them agreed it was amazing. There are so many great STEM "problems" for lessons and challenges when you get back. One group even got to watch them set an airplane on fire so the fire station could practice. We got to go on a huge Delta jet (thanks to the Delta rep) and the kids got to sit in first class. The fire station folks pulled out a truck and shot water from the pump. They really went all out.
